December 3rd 3:30-4:30, the TCNJ Communication Studies Student Advisory Board held their third CommTuesday event of the year. About 15 students came both from the board and the department in general. The board felt it was important to dedicate this time to helping students destress before finals. There was a debate on the pros and cons of avoiding social media during finals week. All students shared their favorite way to study and how they avoid becoming overwhelmed. The event allowed students to see that it is normal to feel overwhelmed, but that it can also be managed. There was hot chocolate and cookies to help celebrate the holiday season and the event finished up with a few rounds of hangman. The Student Advisory Board is so pleased with the success of CommTuesday this semester and looks forward to continuing it in the spring semester.
