Imagine running into an old friend from TCNJ at the Kennedy Center Honors ceremony in Washington DC? That’s what happened to Gail Schulman ’16 and Aaron Watson ’18 when they crossed paths as media professionals recently at the prestigious honors ceremony on December 4th.
Gail and Aaron first began working together in the Digital Filmmaking and Television specialization (formerly Radio/TV/Film) in the Communication Studies Department at TCNJ. Their first class project together was a documentary on a local theater group. As student producers, they honed their skills in telling visually compelling stories. Both went on to numerous internships, including a shared internship in the New York Times photo department.
Even after graduating, their connection continues. They often see each other at major events even though they work for different organizations, Gail as a photographer at Paramount CBS and Aaron as a video producer at the White House. Who knows where they will run into each other again?
